JUSCO School South Park

JUSCO SCHOOL SOUTH PARK came into being in April 2005 as a corporate social responsibility of JUSCO. It was transferred to JUSCO Educational Mission Foundation (JEM Foundation) in 2008.

School Campus

JSSP is situated in the heart of the city blessed with a sprawling 7.62 acres of lush green campus

Infrastructure

The vast infrastructure comprising spacious and airy classrooms, informative digital classrooms, well equipped library, computer laboratories and science laboratories enhance the teaching learning process of the school. In addition the school has added a Mathematics laboratory, a Language laboratory and a Social science laboratory. The new XSEED resource room facilitates the teachers in the smooth execution of their XSEED lesson plans.

Student Based Activities

As per the CBSE board JSSP follows the continuous and comprehensive evaluation for scholastic and co-scholastic subjects. We offer a wide range of student based learning activities by focussing on the students’ needs, abilities and learning styles to discover and achieve their potential.

Digital Classrooms

Here at JUSCO School South Park , we value our intellectual capital,  and nurture it through a perfect blend, of the traditional as well as contemporary ways and means, for the comprehensive development, of the students' personality. We unlearn redundant concepts and adapt quickly to new technologies of teaching. JSSP laid the foundation of digital classrooms in Jamshedpur and now it’s proud to have 10 digital classrooms along with Tata interactive system digital boards.

Sports

JUSCO School South Park is a school with deep founded traditions and love for games and sports .We offer a wide range of indoor and outdoor sporting facility under the guidance of well acclaimed sports teachers.

A deep sense of appreciation, joy, contentment and gratitude surge through my heart as I greet you to this column with a very overwhelming news, JUSCO School South Park has been Affiliated to CBSE Board, New Delhi. I would like to extend my gratitude to the JSSP family for all their support and cooperation for making this possible.

 
We now count Eight years from the inception of the school in 2005. The journey throughout had its own triumphs and struggles and yet unique in many ways. Within a very short time, JUSCO School South Park, has carved a niche for itself in Jamshedpur, as a school that delivers Quality Education for Life by promoting personal excellence. 

 
The modern technology and infrastructure of JSSP promotes ‘student centered’ learning which help them to grow up with an unparalleled knowledge base, a vibrant dynamism and an acute consciousness about the world around them.

 
I, along with my experienced and committed team of dedicated faculty and silent workers would like to focus attention towards the academic development and achievements of students in a way that they are able to excel within the national curriculum framework and Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) introduced by CBSE. JSSP endeavors to provide the students with classrooms as invigorating and inspiring as a place they look forward to going to and places they hate to leave…. a place they will come to know themselves as masters of various crafts... that ...they will come to love the process of learning itself... by making it their own. I strongly believe

The safe, loving and nurturing hands of the teachers shape each and every student through their formative years in “PANKH” , as we call the nursery class , has now expanded to three sections ! Our young students need to use their natural - human born - talents of problem-solving, intuition, creativity, curiosity, exploration, the ability to think for themselves in the moment and then to respond powerfully and courageously to the realities of their time. This is not something we can teach them with textbooks or as part of the curriculum. We must remember that we are here TODAY to prepare the children for TOMORROW. If we try to teach our children, the way we had learnt yesterday; we rob them of their tomorrow.

I believe, the success of JSSP’s growth lies in the fact that the teacher and parent community of the school work in unison towards providing the best learning environment for our children. I look forward to your continued support and cooperation.
