Kasidih High School, Sakchi was founded in 1936 by TATA STEEL to provide quality education to the wards of TATA STEEL employees. The school provides a happy, secure, safe and stimulating environment where children can enjoy learning and grow up to be responsible citizens.Today, Kasidih High School is a unit of JUSCO EDUCATION MISSION FOUNDATION and is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education. The school has primary, middle, high and senior sections with 2600 students on its rolls. A team of 65 dedicated and well – qualified teachers guide students for their mental, physical and emotional development.The school provides a broad, balanced and diversified curriculum through which students develop a real enthusiasm for learning. Computer Class
Computer education is an integral part of teaching learning process. Computer education is imparted to students of Classes I & above. Twowell equipped computer lab (Two Separate Lab for Primary and High School Students) with 60 computers is provided.
Smart Class
The Extra Marks Smart Class brings abstract and difficult curriculum concepts to life and makes learning an enjoyable experience for student through digital and interactive Board.
The school is centrally located in the heart of the city, i.e.Sakchi, which is easily approachable from various part of the city by any local transport. The school campus is stretched in around approx 6 acres of land in front of Jamshedpur Homeopathic College, Kasidih, Sakchi, Jamshedpur.
The school campus is surrounded by a pitch road. The school campus has two building, one Primary block ( Single storey ) and second one high school block ( Double storey ). A separate KG block is situated just beside the primary block to avoid interference to smaller students of L.KG & U.KG from much bigger students of primary block.
The school has two main gates, one used by pedestrians only and the other for the use of school bus, van and school auto rickshaw. School has cemented stage of 30 feet x 60 feet for performing various activities, functions and programs and a cemented ground with seating capacity of around 500 parents/ guardians. The school playing ground comprises of a football ground, a Basketball court, a handball ground & a valley ground of standard dimensions.
All five laboratories comprising of Physics Lab. Chemistry Lab, Biology Lab, Computer lab and Mathematics Lab are fully equipped and all are situated in high school block. Our sports lab is fully equipped for games like football, volley ball, handball, cricket & other indoor games.
Atal Tinkering Lab with latest amenities and equipments like 3D Printer, Robotics, Lego etc.
The ATL Lab cater not only to its own student but also to the nearby schools as a hubs of learning.
All the classrooms are having furniture as per requirement of students of all age groups. All rooms are having proper arrangements of fan and tube lights to meet seasonal challenges throughout the year. To maintain proper healthy and hygienic condition inside the school campus proper arrangement has been made for toilets ( separate for girls and boys ) and drinking water.
